When operating a limited company it is vital to consider whether your company and the individuals operating through the company need to take out any insurance. The need to take out insurance may be due to a legal obligation, a contractual requirement or indeed simply due a personal need.

Travel Insurance

If your company is to send its employees oversees, it will be vital for them to ensure that they have the appropriate travel insurance in place to cover any medical bills in the event of injury or indeed death.

It may be that the client or agent will provide cover for the individuals providing the services whilst they are overseas, however, this is unlikely, as it tends to be an employee benefit.

There are literally thousands of companies that can provide such insurance but it is important to ensure that the company gives the level of cover personally required; for example, does the policy cover all countries in which the services will be provided?
